Questions We Get a Lot

An SL track follows the full curve of your spine — from your neck down through your lower back and under the seat to your glutes and upper hamstrings. A standard L track covers the same curve but stops at the lower back. If you spend long hours sitting or want coverage through the seat, the SL track is the more thorough option.

Zero gravity positions your body so your knees sit slightly above your heart, distributing your weight evenly across the chair rather than concentrating it on your lower back. In practice, it changes how the rollers feel — the same intensity reads as deeper and more effective in that recline. It also takes meaningful pressure off the lumbar spine while the chair is working.

Most full-recline chairs need between 12 and 18 inches of clearance behind them to move into zero gravity without hitting the wall. Some models use a space-saving mechanism that shifts the chair forward as it reclines, bringing that clearance requirement down considerably. Check the product spec sheet for the exact figure before you choose a placement.

About Our Massage Chairs

A massage chair is home infrastructure — the kind you justify once and benefit from every single day after that. The category has matured well past simple vibration: contemporary chairs use motorised roller systems that map the length of the spine, programmable intensity heads that move in multiple axes, and heat zones positioned where tension actually accumulates. Zero gravity recline is now standard at most price points, and for good reason — the reclined position changes the mechanics of how the rollers interact with muscle tissue. Who is this for? Anyone who ends most days carrying tension they never fully clear. The professional who does not have time for a standing appointment. The person who wakes up stiff and wants a consistent morning ritual they control. When you are choosing, the track design matters more than the feature count — it determines how much of your body the chair can actually reach. Heat coverage, roller axis range, and the quality of the upholstery are the next things worth comparing. A chair you will use every day deserves that level of attention before you buy.
